Unlocking the Cost: How Much Is a Nostril Piercing?

Close up of a nostril piercing

So, you've finally decided to take the plunge and get that nostril piercing you've been dreaming about. The question buzzing in your mind like a determined little bee is, "how much will this all cost?" Well, let's start off with the base cost which typically encompasses the piercing itself - the act of puncturing your skin and inserting an initial piece of jewelry.

Service Fee

First things first, when considering a nostril piercing, one has to account for the actual piercing fee. This is usually charged by professional piercers for carrying out the procedure. In most reputable studios, this fee could range anywhere from $15 to $50 depending on their level of expertise and location. This charge covers the tools, sterilization, and piercers time and education.

Here's a helpful tidbit - always look out for piercers who are members of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP). This shows they've committed themselves to further education in their craft and maintaining certain safety and hygiene standards in their practice.

Our piercing fees are between $30 to $60 per piercing.

Jewelry Cost

Now, this doesn't include the price of jewelry yet. Keep in mind that jewelry prices vary dramatically, depending on factors such as material, design complexity, brand reputation, and even the location where you're making your purchase. It's not just the piercing hole you're paying for; it's the shiny trinket that'll adorn your nose for the foreseeable future too.

When selecting jewelry for your nostril piercing, consider starting with something simple and hypoallergenic—gold or titanium are usually safe bets. Once your piercing is healed (patience is a virtue here), you can explore other styles and materials.

Can you still have diamonds? Well sure! If it suits your style—and budget—why not?

Keep in mind too that some studios have policies where they only use jewelry purchased from them and not jewelry that was purchased elsewhere. (Like Etsy or even from a jeweler.) This is primarily to ensure quality control—they don't want subpar pieces causing infections or other issues—which could also affect your final cost. Speaking of cost...you might want to brace yourself if you have a penchant for high-end brands or rare gems. These will undeniably fetch higher prices than simpler designs or less-prestigious brands but remember – this isn’t just about getting pierced. It’s about making a statement - reflecting who you are in each glint and sparkle sitting pretty on your nostril.

Here at Aurelia Adornments our starting price for a piece of jewelry is $99. Prices can jump up from there pretty drastically depending on the piece in question. Keep in mind that our pieces are all solid 14 or 18k gold.

Thus, it's important to consider both your personal style and budget when making your selection. While an initial glance at nostril piercing costs might suggest a simple one-time expense, it's clear that there are multiple facets involved in determining the final cost.

Despite these additional considerations though, remember that this journey can be quite exciting! As you delve into exploring your individual style through body modification artistry - whether by selecting an elegant diamond stud, something simple, or something more avant-garde - remember to enjoy every bit of it!

It's about self-expression after all. So go ahead and embrace this thrilling new chapter in expressing who you are!
